The Red Sun Sets...
Yesterday,
When a red dawn broke,
From the remnants of a blue night,
I was too drunk,
In Red thoughts
And philosophies,
In the splendor,
Of an empty promise,
‘Felt like a dream.
Hence Red became an opium,
Soul of a heartless world,
Sigh of a million.
And hardly can I recall,
When my blue blood turned red,
Till this day,
When every drop of it,
Found a vent in my veins.
Khaki monsters!
I pity you!
(I, the Soul of a City of Joy,
In the graveyard of rotten dreams)
And I stare,
And I sigh,
And I secretly smile,
For,
Tomorrow,
A blue dawn would break,
From the remnants of a red nightmare,
For,
Tomorrow,
I’d fly.
And I am ready to wait.
